Qatar Airways Adds Sixth Daily Flight From Colombo
From 10 July 2024, Qatar Airways expanded Colombo–Doha service to six flights daily—more options for travellers.
Qatar Airways has expanded its Colombo–Doha service, increasing from five to six daily flights starting 10 July 2024. The additional flight uses Boeing 787 aircraft, the airline's modern, efficient widebody jet. This expansion is excellent news for Sri Lankan travellers heading to the Middle East, Europe, Africa, or beyond.
With six daily flights to Doha, Qatar Airways now offers 42 weekly connections from Colombo, giving travellers more scheduling flexibility and seat availability. From Doha, you can reach nearly 170 destinations on the Qatar Airways network—one of the world's largest. Whether you're connecting to Europe, Asia, Africa, or the Americas, the expanded schedule makes it easier to find a departure time that suits your plans.
This is a vote of confidence in the Colombo–Doha route and in Sri Lanka as a market. More flights mean more options, better prices through increased competition, and a stronger link connecting Sri Lanka to the world. If you're planning a trip abroad, the expanded Qatar Airways schedule is one more reason to explore what's possible.
